I have been riding since age 14. I am the owner of Addison & Associates, LLC, General Contractors Residential and Commercial -Retired, Owner of Infinite Highway Tours, MSF And Harley Approved Rider Coach for Cajun H-D Riding Academy, Past President of Construction Specifications Institute of Acadiana, Pilot and Co-owner of Cardinal N2169C, a Cessna 177-B, Member of Airplane Owners and Pilots Association Experimental Aircraft Association, Cardinal Flyers Organization, Abbeville Tee Hangars Association, Graduate of the 44th Acadiana Law Enforcement Training Academy, Road Captain for Cajun Harley Davidson and former Road Captain for Renegade Harley Davidson.

I truly enjoy the H.O.G. Chapter because of the fellowship and activities that the chapter offers. The Chapter is a diverse group of Riders that offer ideas, rides and functions that will interest most people. Their destinations and routes are what make it the great Group it is.

I love teaching the Riding Academy because you meet people from all walks of life, and all areas of interest as to why they choose to ride or learn to ride. Many have never been on a motorcycle and the fear factor can easily be seen in their eyes. As a Rider Coach, it is my responsibility to put them at ease as much as possible and to figure out which of the 4 learning types they are, and proceed from there.

In the classroom, we separate friends and acquaintances, and partner them up with people they do not know. They must ask their new friend a group of questions like “what is your name”? “Where are you from”?” Have You ever ridden a motorcycle”? “What would your ideal motorcycle be”? Doing this breaks the ‘ice” and it helps them to relax and have some Serious Fun!! Out on the range there may be 12 students, with 12 different ideas of what it is that you are reading and demonstrating, so it is a challenge to figure out how and where to guide each student. It is so REWARDING to watch them progress and acquire the skills to accomplish the exercises. Their smiles say it all when they get through each new exercise!!!

Recently, I have had the Honor to ride with quite a few of our Graduates and it is rewarding to witness the progress they have made. On March 2nd, I will be leading a more challenging ride for the graduates as we go ride the beautiful roads of Arkansas. Later on, in April, we will go ride the roads in the Texas Hill Country. Their goal is to ride the mountains of Colorado, Wyoming and Montana later this summer. I will be leading quite a few rides this year and one of my main goals is to design rides around the interest and destinations of my student graduates!!!

I am currently putting two tours together through my touring business for client’s” bucket list”. The top of my bucket list is to ride the Alps and all over Europe. My longest ride to date is 23 States and 8,000 plus miles!!!

I have met the most interesting and real people because of motorcycles.

When that lady stood on top of Pikes Peak and wrote “America the Beautiful”, she was so telling the truth. I have been fortunate enough to have been in every area of our Beautiful Country!!! There are many brands of motorcycles, I choose to ride a Harley!!!!

God Bless America!!!!!
